The Midnight Ocean Tarot

First of all, the gulper eel won our poll for the free notebook. So everyone who pledges in the first 48 hours will recieve a free notebook, with the gulper eel design on the cover. Since the voting was so close, I've put the whale shark notebook up as an add-on. They will feature the full card art, altered to fit the cover size; custom printed ruled pages and they're a6 sized.

Next up; card previews! The pins will be laid out on the goals banner after launch, but here's a quick look at the cards;



The last five will be revealed one by one during the campaign. I would love to hear everyone's opinions on the species and designations we chose. Once the final card is revealed I'll post the full list. Fun fact! One of the remaining five gives lifts to baby crabs.

I've had a couple of questions about the minor arcana to match. If this project is successful, we're hoping to launch the minor arcana as an additional set next year. Because of the way the packaging is made, the box you get your major set in will have space to add the rest to it (it will come with 'filler' piece to keep your cards presented nicely, not like an empty box. This is due to how its produced and I can't change it). 

Not all the pins are listed on the stretch goals. That's because 22 pins is a lot of pins, and I don't know if we'll fund that far. If we somehow smash that goal, I'll add the rest, its basically an extra £500 for each pair of extra pins. If we don't get to them all this campaign, we'll have them in the next one.

Its nearly time for launch.

Time to vote on which design we use for the Early Bird freebie notebook.

The notebook will be a6 size, with colour printed ruled pages. The front cover will feature a design from one of the cards, but it will be reworked to the correct ratio. I just need to know which creature you'd all like before I finalise the design.

Sneak peek at our mini pin for this campaign - the Mystery Mollusc! A recently discovered deep sea nudibranch. After Bunnies and Branchs I couldn't help myself. It does have a matching card, but here's the pin designs that go along with it. The purple colourway is for our returning backer freebie; the teal will be available as an add on and in certain bundles. 

Most of the pin designs feature the card too, but the mystery mollusc mini pin is a stand alone design :).
